Martínez Díaz & Asociados and INSER at Growing Families Sydney 2026
Sydney, July 2026. On July 25 and 26, 2026, our managing partner, Santiago Martínez, represented Martínez Díaz & Asociados at the Surrogacy & Donor Conception National Conference, held in Sydney, Australia, and organized by Growing Families.
We attended as exhibitors alongside INSER, our clinical partner specialized in fertility and assisted reproduction, with the goal of presenting a comprehensive view of gestational surrogacy processes in Colombia — from both the legal and medical support perspectives.
A learning and networking experience in Sydney
During the conference, we had the opportunity to speak with Australian families interested in learning how surrogacy works in Colombia, what its main stages are, and which medical and legal aspects must be considered before, during, and after the birth.
The joint participation of Martínez Díaz & Asociados and INSER allowed us to address the concerns of intended parents from a comprehensive perspective, explaining the importance of properly coordinating the selection and preparation of the surrogate, the fertility treatment, the pregnancy, and the legal procedures related to parentage and the baby's documentation.
The experience also allowed us to exchange knowledge with other professionals in the field, learn different perspectives on international surrogacy, and strengthen relationships with organizations committed to responsible and safe processes.
