Fertility Show – London 2025
On May 17 and 18, Martínez Díaz Abogados had the honour of participating in Fertility Show London 2025, one of the most important global events in the field of assisted fertility. This space brought together clinics, agencies, legal experts, and families from around the world, establishing itself as a key meeting point for those seeking paths to parenthood through gestational surrogacy and other reproductive treatments.
Surrogacy Explained: legal, clinical and emotional aspects
Our learning focused on the panel titled "Surrogacy Explained: Legal, Clinical and Emotional Considerations", where we learned, alongside distinguished international colleagues, the legal, clinical and emotional aspects that surround this path to building a family. It was a privilege to share with representatives from organisations such as The Surrogacy Father, Extraordinary Conceptions, IVF Couriers, My Surrogacy Journey and specialised clinics from the United Kingdom.
Colombia: a legally secure and inclusive destination
In our conversations we highlighted Colombia's unique position as a legally secure, inclusive and economically accessible destination for gestational surrogacy. We presented the advantages offered by our legal framework, especially regarding the protection of intended parents' rights (including those of the LGBTQ+ community), as well as the high medical quality and legal support we provide throughout the entire process.
Experiences and concerns of families
It was also an opportunity to hear moving experiences and learn about the most common concerns of those considering this path. From emotional challenges to regulatory differences between countries, the exchange was enriching and reaffirmed our commitment to offering clear, empathetic and professional legal guidance to every family that our firm accompanies.
